About

Programs:

4-H Youth Development:

Gloucester County offers clubs encompassing a wide variety of interests. The following lists the project areas currently available to join and where they meet.

The Gloucester County 4-H program develops programs and activities designed to provide youth with life skills such as public speaking, leadership and citizenship. This is accomplished through a variety of delivery methods: 4-H Project Clubs, School Enrichment activities and 4-H Camping programs

Agriculture & Resource Management:

The agriculture and resource management program provides information and educational programs for both homeowners and farmers. Programs designed for farmers focus on farm profitability and research updates. Customer-oriented programs and services include soil testing, identification of insects and plant diseases. We also offer publications on a wide range of gardening and agricultural topics.

Family & Community Health Sciences

Rutgers Cooperative Research & Extension's programs in family and community health sciences (FCHS) extend and apply useful and practical research-based information to enable individuals and families to make informed choices and acquire needed skills to enhance the quality of their lives and their communities.
