AMEIPHQ was founded in 1980, to defend the interests of handicapped people of ethnic minorities.
Objectives: Its purpose is to promote the integration of persons with disabilities from different ethnocultural communities into their new Canadian society.
Activities: The organization has provided services to persons with disabilities from ethnocultural communities since 1981. It also promote public awareness through such activities as training, conferences, publications and the dissemination of information about the rights and interests of persons with disabilities from ethnocultural communities.
