About [Edit]

The Global Oneness Project is a non-profit media organization exploring a growing understanding of what it means to be part of one interconnected, interdependent world. Our short films and interviews feature people on six continents, working in the fields of sustainability, conflict resolution, spirituality, art, agriculture, economics, indigenous culture, social justice, and politics. The films are available online as a free resource to inspire dialogue about new ways of living and working at this time of global transformation.

Dear sir/madam,
Am writing in on behalf of Restoration of African Culture Healing organisation, the only orgaisation that creates awareness among communities about the ANTI HUMAN SACRIFICE. The project involves educating the masses about its intension and protection measures. It should not be forgoten that:
The violent and remorseless butchering of human beings particularly the young children; ostensibly for a ritualistic sacrifice is a profound problem that is common place in Uganda today. The problem started manifesting slowly occasionally in the central part of the country when a five year old Muhamed Shamin was sacrificed in a ritual sacrifice in 2004. Bukedde September 18th 2004. After this the problem appeared to helot until 2006 when cases were reported with frightening frequently, most specifically around central region of the country. The most striking and sticking incidence involved murder of a young boy Muguluma from Lugala in Lubaga division Kampala district. Bukedde 6th August Since then virtually every week mutilated body is discovered decomposing in some parts of the country with private parts and tongues missing, making it prospective to suppose a correlation between the murderer and ritualistic sacrifice as the privacy motive. Subsequently, a lot of controversy has been raging in formal and informal circles about the cause of the problem, magnitude and above all possible culprits without any cohevent and helpful way forward. The government of its part lacks a definitive policy, legislation and indeed frame work within which to comprehensively address the problem. In fine frustration, the public has grown frustrated and resorted to mob justice or violent unlawful murder of whether is slightly linked to human sacrifice. In the circumstances, it’s difficult to tell if these suspects are indeed guilty or innocent. In light of the foregoing, it is imperative that RACHO comes out with a creative and practical strategy of proximately evaluating the problem of human sacrifice in Uganda by addressing the privacy motivation, methods, culprits, consequences and above all proposing bold measures in respect of the same. On basis of this sad background Restoration of African Culture Healing Organization has come out with a project to check the problem.
kindly reply to us and comment on how we can collaborate/ affiliate and found these projects in order to cub the problem since you are also in peace building. thank you

I just attended the evening in Seattle last night and it was so inspiring and moving. I will be going on vacation back home where my mom is a high school teacher and I will be going into some of her classes to show the films and recreate the format of the conversation cafes. It is truly about education and empowerment and I am blessed to have been able to attend the evening and be present in the conversation. Orland Bishop was amazing and moved me to tears.
Thank You!

Hello WE Global Oneness Community; you have made a new fan of me, and I applaud your great work for our human family. I am a WiserEarth.com member myself but was unaware of your existance at wiserearth till I say todays Watch Alert. I have been very busy trying to inter-connect "Sustainable Clean Energy/Renewable Energy Independence" web communities via a bridge site I created http://www.lelandcewns.ning.com for that reason alone. Inter-connectedness and united web community seems too lacking or availiable to me, am I alone in this thought? http://www.loverevolution2.ning.com is my non-denominational hope sharing site, where new member roll includes a resident from Germany-India-Russia- Italy- and N.America have joined their hope to ours thankfully. Please consider this posting my welcome to either one of these new sites, to visit and browse or become a member to post comments. Would appreciate a link to your WE Global Oneness site at both my sites, if it is possable. Very sincerely your new fan and friend, William Leland Luster/Las Vegas,Nev./03-21-09

Hello everyone!
I just voted, and so can you!
People's
Grocery (a short film produced by Global Oneness Project) was recently nominated for the Online Jury Prize for the
Reduction Festival, a film fest that looks to artists and the creative
industries to provide works that discuss and attempt to resolve some of
our complex environmental concerns. On the website, selected films are
currently being voted on by audience members. Visit www.reductionfestival.org, click on DOCUMENTARY, and vote for your favorite film!
The winning film will be awarded a £1000 prize, which we will offer to the community-based organization, People's Grocery.
Spread the word and vote!
