The ATA [Alternative Technology Association] is Australia`s leading environmental organisation promoting sustainable technology and representing community issues. ATA advocates in government and industry forums for policies which provide equitable access to energy resources and reduce greenhouse gas pollution.



With branches and members around Australia and New Zealand, ATA provides practical information about harnessing renewable energy sources such as the sun, wind and water. ATA also offers advice on conserving energy, building with natural materials, reducing the use of and recycling natural resources and working with appropriate technology to create a sustainable future.

ATA specialises in its distributing its extensive, independent, knowledge about sustainable building, water reuse, renewable energy, energy conservation and renewable fuels, and is keen to share this knowledge.
