SODO Creative Green Design and Marketing

...we're just so fresh and green.

We created this group to communicate and collaborate with people interested in design and marketing with a green twist...using recycled materials for print, energy efficiency (solar powered Web hosting), energy offsetting, and other solutions we're hoping to learn and spread the word about.

About  [Edit]

The Instituto de Permacultura da Bahia, Brazil is a non-profit educational NGO which aims at helping create systems which sustain life. It has three general lines of action

1. Rural: sustainable agriculture: changing the agricultural model from monocultures ( with deforestation) to agroforest systems ( productive ecosystems) in the four major tropical ecosystems of Brazil ( rainforest, drylands, savannah, transition zone). We develop and teach these models, networking with other organizations who do the same.

2. Urban: Treat the city as an ecosystem, closing cycles in order to increase availability of food and reduce pollution ( backyard and community systems, recycling, green industries)

3. Education-- develop a non-linear form of education which integrates man with nature and gives him the tools for self-suf
