About [Edit]
The Next Wave of Women & Power (NWWP) is an international leadership development network designed for young women ages 18-40. NWWP holistically engages young women in a rigorous experiential curriculum that
1) enhances their wisdom, creativity and intuition,
2) challenges their existing notions about power and
3) encourages the building of global community.
Phase I: Use multimedia and the performing arts as a way to encourage a national dialogue among young women between the ages of 18-35 about civic participation and the most relevant issues facing young women in America today.
Phase II: To help create and articulate a Ten Point WE GOT ISSUES! Visionary Political Platform that speaks to the hearts, minds and concerns of young women.
To have young women “invest their right to vote” as a demonstrated commitment to working towards positive change.
Phase III: To provide a transformational arts-based model of social/political activism that supports and encourages young women’s civic leadership on a local, state and national level. WE GOT ISSUES! Arts Based Model for Civic Transformation.
