Mission

The Opportunity Council is a private, non-profit Community Action Agency serving homeless and low-income families, children, seniors and people with disabilities. Our goal is to help people help themselves and move toward self-sufficiency.

Vision

Our programs range from helping people in crisis with immediate needs to addressing long-term support. We shelter people who are homeless, feed people who are hungry, prepare young children for school, provide a messaging services for people who don’t have a phone, help keep people safe and warm through the winter, and more.

Objective

The Opportunity Council is a local Community Action Agency serving homeless and low-income families, children, seniors and people with disabilities. Our programs work to create positive change, both in the lives of the people we serve and in our community.
