Purpose Statement

The Harvard College Globalization Project seeks to provide its members the opportunity for active exploration of economic, political, and social trends on a global scale. HCGP focuses on three central activities to provide a worthwhile experience for its members: an open forum of discussion, a biannual publication in which to present their work, and presentations by special guest speakers. HCGP is a non-ideologically based organization that intends to promote active and honest critical thought from a diverse spectrum of opinions. Each journal issue addresses a particular topic, relevant to globalization, from a variety of perspectives, and all of the written material is contributed by current Harvard undergraduates.
