The Ozark Seed Exchange is not a seed business but a free public service to promote and enable the sharing of seeds and knowledge about both gardening and seed saving techniques. All monies sent in for seed are used for either postage, adding seed to the collection, or purchase of items for saving seed.



Another goal of this exchange is to create a seed bank, or library, held in common by seed bank members. Along with insuring access to seed, this could serve as an insurance policy against crop failures. If your garden is wiped out for some reason, you could apply to the bank for a "seed loan". We`ll send enough seed to restart your operation. In exchange, you save seed to repay the loan. Please let me know if this interests you.
