Ação Educativa (Educational Action) is a national, non-governmental organization that works on topics related to youth and education. Our objective is to promote rights, social justice, participatory democracy, and sustainable development. Founded in 1994, the organization develops projects on teacher and youth training, cultural performance, research, information dissemination, public policy evaluation, and the creation of networks and other institutional partnerships. Throughout its history, Ação Educativa has mobilized a network of collaborating partners, afiliating itself with universities, public organizations, schools, community associations, international organizations, and other groups involved in the defense and promotion of youth and educational rights. The main office of Ação Educativa is located in downtown Sao Paulo, which also hosts the Center for Youth and Continuing Education, and is the center where the organization’s projects are developed for diverse regions of the city and other states.
