The objective of the International foundation for protection of freedom of speech "Adil Soz" is to build an open civil society through the establishment of open, objective and progressive journalism in everyday life in Kazakhstan.



The first principle of the foundation's work is monitoring of violations of freedom of speech through its correspondent network. The foundation's lawyer carries out legal analysis of information received through the monitoring. The operational analysis of legally unfavourable situations with regards to mass media provides the foundation for selecting the most effective forms of protection of such mass media and journalists.
