Background: DPE was founded in 1987 as a Basotho Ecumenical Organisation, aiming to facilitate the empowerment of the needy.



Objectives: Its objectives are to conscientize and empower people; promote peace by helping people build communities that engage marginalized people in community and national-level dialogue; and to equip groups with necessary knowledge in implementing their projects and running of DPE.
