Purpose:



The Whistler Fisheries Stewardship Group exists to restore riparian and aquatic habitats in Whistler's watersheds to their utmost potential through community partnerships, advocacy, education, and projects.



Mission:



• Promotes the practices of land & water stewardship through Landowner Contact Programs

• Offers educational programs that link people and communities to nature

• Undertakes habitat restoration for enhancement of fish & wildlife

• Undertakes research related to wildlife/fish and/or habitat

• Provides monitoring, restoration or caretaking activities for nature

• Train and organize volunteers in StreamKeepers and WetlandKeepers programs.
