Research on human rights and violence against women, family organization, women and urban/rural space, political participation of women, domestic employees, women and the holocaust. Courses and workshops on legal guidance on women`s rights, equality of gender in the classroom, equal opportunities for women. NEMGE/USP is the liaison between all of the Women`s Studies Centers in Brazil and the World Organization of Women`s Studies (WOWS). Maintains a library, with a specialized collection of books and periodicals about women and gender.
