American Buffalo Foundation strives to ensure and perpetuate wild, free roaming herds of buffalo (bison) in and adjacent to Yellowstone National Park and to transplant disease-free wild migratory buffalo into public lands on the Big Open in Phillips and Valley Counties in conjunction with the Canadian National Grasslands in southern Sascatchewan through the Bitter Creek Corridor.
