AED NGO Development Program contributes to USAID Croatia's overall strategic objective of increasing citizen participation in political processes, particularly at the local level and will promote the evolution of service-oriented NGOs into organizations that serve as effective representatives of citizen concerns and advocacy articulators as partners with local government authorities.



This program will develop a network of at least 3 NGOs/support centers nationwide, which are able to provide assistance to other NGOs.



Training and technical assistance will be provided to ensure institutional development and financial sustainability, increased social acceptance and support, effective public advocacy.



Grant Program:

The grant program will support advocacy activities that are likely to increase civic participation and civic influence on policy development and implementation through the establishment of coalitions.(between NGOs, local government, political parties, and/or unions)
