MISSION STATEMENT



The Alameda Corridor Jobs Coalition (ACJC) is a community driven coalition, committed to upholding and developing strategies that promote and sustain living wage job opportunities, job training, and benefits for residents from low-income communities.



ACJC’s core belief is that the loss or lack of a job is the start of a disastrous domino effect. Without employment, a family’s housing, health, education, and social life all become enmeshed in a harmful cycle of deterioration and poverty. Conversely, gainful employment provides families with the foundation necessary to attain a better life with greater economic opportunities.
