To improve public and environmental health in urban areas by developing and modeling multicultural environmental education, promoting economic opportunities for youth and increasing community involvement in environmental protection.



The Ma'at Youth Academy is a multicultural environmental organization dedicated to a safer, cleaner healthier environment for children and youth. Through research, public education and community organizing MYA creates a system of community monitors to minimize human exposure to environmental hazards to preserve good health in communities of color and low-income areas, especially as it applies to children.
