Mamata was launched in 1983 with the aim to provide assistance in the areas of family planning and health care to the disadvantaged, illiterate, socially unaware and backward communities.



Goal:



Eradicate poverty and ensure health hazard free Bangladesh with establishing civil rights.



Objective:



- Set up permanent primary health care centre to ensure good health



-Create awareness on family planning, STD, HIV AIDS and various health issues



- Generate awareness of people on human rights and provide assistance by enhancing the support of civil society and other organizations



- Make grassroots women aware of their rights, and help them take initiatives towards self-reliance



- Provide training and credit to make people self-employed and to generate saving attitude leading to improved socio-economic condition
