Enlighten Me Designs is a community-based, nonprofit company, in Tangipahoa Parish Louisiana. EMD's current focus is to work towards a cleaner Tangipahoa River, between Robert, LA., and Lee's Landing, off HWY 22, in Ponchatoula, LA. EMD's volunteers work to remove trash from the Tangiapahoa River and surrounding areas. EMD raises funds by creating and selling custom, light-switch-plates for the home or office; items can be viewed and/or purchased on the company web site, www.EnlightenMeDesigns.com, or on Ebay, user ID: JWE2524. EMD operates on volunteer efforts and small, private donations. Cooperating like organiztions in the area include the Lake Pontchartrain Basin Foundation (LPBF), and CFACT (Citizens for a Cleaner Tangipahoa). Together with these organizations, Enlighten Me Designs is making a difference for SE Louisiana residents, specifically, those who live on or near the Tangiaphoa River in Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
