An independent, sustainable, cost-effective micro finance institution that provides diverse, appropriate and market responsive quality financial and business development services at competitive prices to very poor, poor and vulnerable non-poor customers.

BURO Strategy
Tangail's operation strategy principally hinges on
(I) Sustainable approach.
(ii ) Product development and marketing strategy.
(iii) Human resource development strategy.
(iv) Disaster coping strategy.
BURO Summary:
A very good number of NGO/MFIs are engaged in poverty alleviation of the disadvantaged and poor where micro-credit program for most of the NGO/MFIs works as the strongest lever for economic emancipation of their respective customers. BURO, Tangail is uniquely different from other NGO/MFIs in that it consistently recognizes the importance of voluntary,open access savings services for the poor and stresses on integrated quality flexible financial services as opposed to the delivery of inflexible credit. BURO, Tangail lays utmost emphasis on developing quality financial services and continues to pilot a wide variety of financial services to ensure that its customers get the best possible services from the organization.
In consonance with the above definition, BURO, Tangail as a model of micro financing institution represents a congruent approach to enliven and enhance rural and urban economy.
