Our Mission
"Clear the Air is committed to the introduction and implementation of measures to significantly reduce air pollution in Hong Kong." (Clear the air bylaws)We are volunteer organization committed to improving the air quality here. The organization provides a platform for the local community to actively address and deal with air quality issues in Hong Kong
Why was Clear the Air started?
Clear the Air was registered as a Society on 10 December, 1997. At the time there was no sense of urgency in Government to respond to the air pollution that was getting worse, and worse.Clear the Air was started to correct this disregard for clean air in LegCo and some departments of the Hong Kong Government.
Our Focus
Our dedicated volunteers strive towards this mission by:- Promoting strong, focused community support for air pollution control measures.
- Working with government and stakeholders to find practical solutions.
- Educating the public on the importance of air pollution to their own health and wealth.
- Providing a platform for the local community to take action.
