Objectives: The Caribbean Initiative aims to assist a wide range of Caribbean organizations tackle issues of equality, tolerance and non-discrimination in a variety of ways. Its purpose its to strengthen tolerance for diversity by encouraging a process of self-examination in all organizations: to examine whether the rules and practices strengthen or discourage tolerance in the areas of race, gender and disability; and to identify the processes and mechanisms of mediation and redress needed to strengthen equality and non-discrimination.
