About  [Edit]

EuronAid is an operational European network of NGOs active in the field of Food Aid, Food Security and Emergency Relief. As an EC recognized Humanitarian Procurement Centre (HPC) as well as a Humanitarian Central Buying Office (HCBO), EuronAid offers procurement and related services to NGOs implementing humanitarian aid programmes funded by the European Commission. EuronAid has 38 active members and partnerships with more than 100 NGOs worldwide including Civil Society Organisations from the South.

The 'United Approach' of EuronAid is aimed at stimulating self-reliance and sustainable development by supporting local agricultural production and local/regional markets wherever possible. We remain committed to the pledge of alleviating the causes of hunger and food insecurity, promoting Food Security as a prerequisite for poverty reduction.
