The Lifebridge Foundation, Inc. was established in 1992 for the purpose of supporting organizations and individuals who, through cultural, education, and/or scientific means, are dedicated to creating bridges of understanding among all people by bringing to realization the concepts of one humanity and the interconnectedness of all life.

Since 1992, we have been promoting the concept of the interconnectedness of all life and one humanity by supporting more than 200 non-profit organizations to fulfill their missions.

We support groups and individuals whose innovative projects reflect these concepts; whose work exemplifies a global vision, demonstrates a spirit of inclusiveness, and fosters transformative action in a changing world.

People all over the world, most especially in westernized industrial societies, are searching for meaning and asking the question - What is missing? In the current global structure, "what is missing" seems to be an ability to perceive our existence as part of the same life as the Earth and the Universe; as integral parts of an ever-evolving co-creation. The challenge then is to reawaken that knowledge within ourselves.

In September of 2005, the Lifebridge Sanctuary opened: a 12,000 sq ft hand crafted, green facility on 95 acres of pristine forest and spectacular open space on the Northern crest of the famous Shawangunk Ridge. This unique retreat and conference center provides a space of deep beauty, privacy and quiet to groups who are working towards a more just, balanced and healthy world.

The intention is to create an environment that will help evoke the inspired ideas and actions that will change the world and deepen the connections between land, people and community. Lifebridge Sanctuary offers you and your group the opportunity to utilize the quiet and gracious surroundings to stimulate reflection, focused discussion, cutting edge and forward looking conversations.
