About [Edit]
The Madhibaan, an indigenous people living mainly in the Horn of Africa are one of the aboriginal peoples of the country which is called today Somalia.
The Madhibaan are struggling to live in peace and in their ancestral homelands. The history of the oppression of the Madhibaan - even being misused as slaves by the invading Somali Clans - is long and full of blood and tears.
The former government of the Republic of Somalia tried at least to provide the most basic human rights to the Madhibaan and other outcast minorities in Somalia, but since the onset of the civil war in 1991 the Madhibaan, like many other people from Somalia suffer from assassinations by members of the majority clans and atrocities at the hands of the Somalis as well as from neglect and injustice from the side of the international community.
But the Madhibaan don't give up and claim back their rights.
