Our mission is to empower the world's poorest people to lift themselves out of poverty with dignity through access to financial services and to information.
The Grameen Technology Center, an initiative of Grameen Foundation USA, is working to eliminate poverty by leveraging the power of micro credit and technology.
Information and communication technology provide an unparalleled opportunity to improve the lives of the world's poorest people. With a doorway into the information age, people in the world's poorest villages are able to generate economic opportunity and better address the needs in their communities.
The Grameen Technology Center focuses on technology that:
