Background: BUSMEWOA was established in 1996 to permit leaders of the business community to take common stands in order to diversify their activities and reduce the poverty rate.



Objectives: Its objects are to assist small business entrepreneurs, cooperatives and village communities.



Activities: Activities of the BUSMEWOA include: creating small businesses which benefit the community; training would-be business operators on how to start and manage a small business; organizing seminars and workshops for business people to enable them to develop new business skills and techniques.
