Who we are

Codewit Global Network is an international coalition of community activists, youths, codewist, students, teachers, researchers and parents who have been on the forefront of movements to promote democracy and human rights and who believe a good education should teach people—particularly African youths to understand and challenge the injustices and problems their communities face. We believe that mental emancipation is a key foundation to realizing African economic determinism and political freedom. We discuss extensively issues that will benefit the growth of African continent. we campaign that every African youths should be given an equal opportunity of obtaining basic education as a key weapon to fight for a new Africa

Our Vision

As the world moved on with the rapid growth of information and technology revolution which is the driving force of the process of globalization, Codewit Global Network employs this resource as its primary medium to educate and provide her audience especially Africans with up-to-date information and knowledge that is necessary to prepare our next generation for a better Africa.

Our Mission

Codewit Global Network is one of the member of the battalion of the mighty force of the continental movement for change and renaissance. We strive to resolve some of the prevalent social, political and economic issues currently facing Africa today. We strive to achieve this by building a solid network of political and human rights activists who will turn the future of our continent with new ideas and views.

Codewit Global Network also promotes and enriches the public with Africa enormous blessings , achievements & challenges by trying to showcase the aspirations, successes and concerns of Africa and Africans in Diaspora. By honoring these distinguished and gallant Africans today, we are confirming this long held view that out of Africa comes excellence. By reporting on the positive images of Africa without glossing over the negatives we are in a small way making a dent against Afro-pessimism so dominant out there.

We promote education as the only way to achieving mental emancipation, economic determinism, political freedom, spiritual and social balance.

We feature a searchable curriculum database to avail our visitors access to educational materials on African philosophy and culture and other related topics.

We create opportunity for our African writers to share materials they have created with our friends and to comment on the contributions of others.

we provides a monthly discussion series called "let's Codewit" that brings together educators, activists, codewists and youths to participate in a public, online conversation about timely and important topics in “liberatory” education

We strive to maintain a holistic view of Africans by emphasizing the multidimensionality of African diverse cultures, businesses, fashions, entertainment, artistry and other forms of self-expressions. We strive to reflect these crosscurrents through feature stories and profiles emphasizing African successes and strengths countering the negative and pathologizing weaknesses overwhelmingly broadcast in most media
