The Energy for Sustainable Development Library was undertaken in collaboration with Human Info / World Information Transfer NGO Europe, which provided some of the content. The goal of this partnership is to support a global Information for All movement, in which governments, UN agencies, NGO in consultative status with ECOSOC, NGOs and civil society, universities and research centers co-operate and share their essential information with developing countries.



This Virtual Library of Information Resources on Energy for Sustainable Development contains 350 documents (26.000 pages) from UNDP, UNDESA, WEC and many other organizations. The result is a broad and valuable collection of publications, which includes important titles that all of these organizations have published on the subjects of energy for sustainable development.



Included in the disk are technical guidelines, journals and newsletters, case studies, manuals, reports, and other training materials. In order to facilitate its consultation it has been classified as follows:
