The Alliance of Local Initiatives Facilities for Sustainable Development was created by 8 NGOs (group of NGOs from each administrative region of Kyrgyzstan selected one NGO to be co-founder of the Alliance) in order to consolidate efforts to reduce urban and rural poor in mountains of Tien-Shan without damage to environment.



Mission: Main task of the Alliance is capacity building of mountainous rural and urban poor through realization of income-generating projects, initiation of dialogue between the population, public organizations, business, authorities in sphere of sanitation, hygiene, urban and rural ecology, biodiversity conservation, protection of quality of the international waters, mitigation of climate changes, prevention of land degradation and desertification.
