MESA is a non-profit organization and U.S. Department of State-designated J-1 Exchange Visitor Program.



MESA sponsors ecological farmer-to-farmer exchanges between participating countries and the United States. We promote experiential training and cross-cultural opportunities for aspiring agriculturists who then share new insights and skills with their home communities.



MESA`s U.S. Training Program offers a rare chance for internationals to gain hands-on skills at U.S. sustainable farms, while our new Reciprocal Training Program offers individualized training opportunities for U.S. students with sustainable farms and NGOs in other countries.
