About [Edit]
Natural Lands Trust is one of the oldest and largest land trusts in the country. Founded in 1953 as the Philadelphia Conservationists, the organization later became Natural Lands Trust and grew into a full-service conservation group with expertise in land protection, conservation planning and land management.
A non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization under the Internal Revenue Service code, Natural Lands Trust takes great pride in its organizational and fiscal management.
Natural Lands Trust is also an active member in the Land Trust Alliance and has adopted the Alliance's Standards and Practices which provide strict guidelines "for the responsible operation of a land trust, which is run legally, ethically, and in the public interest and conducts a sound program of land transactions and stewardship."
Natural Lands Trust is working to protect our region's natural assets by building a network of interconnected open space throughout the Delaware Valley.
