The Jungle Theatre Company (JTC) began performing theatre in South Africa in 1995 under the name of Jungle Performance. It’s roots lie in the transformational period of South Africa’s history. Jungle felt the need to be a part of this dynamic time and contribute to the new SA by creating integrated theatre that was accessible to all.



Jungle Performance introduced the universally accessible mediums of music, mime, puppetry, juggling and storytelling into their early performances and these have become characteristic elements of Jungle’s performance style over the years. Through this, the company realized how a large and interactive audience of mixed backgrounds could be gathered to be a part of Jungle’s dream.



The theatre experiences include film, television, street and conventional theatre and music. His insatiable passion for performing keeps him, and those around him, constantly motivated and creative.
