The Biophilia Nature Association is dedicated to promoting a love of nature and education in the areas of environmental science and natural history. The Association is a support group working to help develop the 20-acre Biophilia Nature Center where swamp and pitcher plant bogs are being restored after major disturbances. The remaining acreage is being planted only with native trees, shrubs and herbaceous plants and grasses. Public tours emphasizing butterfly habitat and pitcher plant bogs are conducted by a certified science instructor.
