This site provides information on the unique flora and fauna of the island of Cura�ao. CARMABI conducts the management of a number of natural areas on Cura�ao, one of them is the well-known �Christoffel Park�. Scientific research is the main goal and forms the basis for a durable management of the islands natural resources. Furthermore CARMABI performs recommendations to the local government and also carries out an educational program to local schools. Our institute offers visiting scientists and graduate students both the setting and facilities for convenient and productive field research in marine biology, terrestrial biology and geology.
