The British Columbia Wetland Society is a non-profit charitable organization.



Our mission is to promote the conservation of British Columbia's wetland ecosystems through education, research and stewardship.



We have provided wetlands education programs and resources to schools, community groups and the general public throughout British Columbia. In the lower mainland area, we also worked with community volunteers and landowners to coordinate stewardship programs in local wetlands. Unfortunately, since the year 2000, reduced funding has curtailed our activities in the field.
