Background: ACHR is a non-governmental organization based at Peshawar - Pakistan founded in 1997. Their main objective is to represent Afghanistan on the basis of norms and principles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights according to the UN mandate.



Objectives: ACHR is involved in promoting and expanding its speculation in regard to human rights; conducting various social and cultural activities; creating sensitivity of the prevailing inhuman conditions in Afghanistan, educating the Afghan people on human rights issues with special reference to women and children; and creating awareness of the benefits of the protection of human rights-specifically social/political stability and economic prosperity and cultural harmony.
