About [Edit]
The Washington D.C. Field Office is located a few blocks from the White House. Staffed by some forty people experienced on policy issues, grassroots outreach, law, government affairs, and media, the field office advances NWF's national and international agenda to safeguard wildlife and wild places. The office's role is to educate, mobilize, and advocate to preserve and strengthen protection for wildlife and wild places. We link the back yard, the school room, the work place, and the town hall with the board room, the halls of Congress, the courtroom, and the international conference. Wherever decisions are made at the federal and international level, a high value is placed on preservation of wildlife and wild places. The voice of NWF members and the broader public is heard on behalf of the environment.
