JRI
The Japan Research Institute was established as a non-profit organization on September 1,1970.It was established in order to pursue and solve the complex problems that inevitably confront the public and private sectors in the present highly sophisticated era as well as formulate new ideas and theories
JRI's establishment was motivated by individual initiative, and therefore, JRI's first working principle is complete neutrality from the influence of established enterprises, capital group, and organization such as political parties and labor unions. Since its founding, JRI's has been actively involved in research projects commissioned by public and private organizations. With the accumulation of a successful performance record, the Institute has been widely recognized as one of Japan's representative Think Thanks.
The research themes, according to the Institute's initial motives, concentrate on universally valid problems in the economic, social, and industrial sphere. The approach utilized for research is interdisciplinary analysis, since any one discipline is insufficient in tackling multi-faceted contemporary problems.
