Fronteras Comunes is a non governmental, non-profit organization, without political affiliation foundedin 1991 and registered as a civil association in 1998.

Fronteras Comunes is engaged in research and action on environmental issues working on toxics, environmental justice and health, and chemical pollution.

Our work is intended to support communities affected by chemical pollution, to protect human health and the environment from exposure to hazardous chemicalsas well as participate in coordination mechanisms both nationally and internationally, to influence public policy toward to a economically viable development, socially just and environmentally sustainable.

Fronteras Comunes has conducted studies and analysis of environmental impacts related with economic integration and the current model of economic development in Mexico. His most important area of work focuses on chemical pollution, toxics, gray agenda, environmental management, law,transparency,right to know, and health and environmental justice.
