The mission of the Asian Pacific Islander Small Business Program (API SBP) is to assist the development of small and micro businesses in Los Angeles with particular focus on Chinatown, Koreatown, Little Tokyo, Thai Town and Filipino business communities, especially those of low income immigrants.

API SBP Partner Agencies include: Chinatown Service Center, Korean Youth & Community Center, Little Tokyo Service Center CDC, Search to Involve Pilipino Americans, and Thai Community Development Center. These organizations have established themselves as centers of community service with a combined history of over 100 years of providing social and economic development programs.
