Community Awareness and Services for Ecological Concern, Inc. is a non-stock, non-profit, non-government and service institution, whose aim is to enhance the people`s consciousness about the ecological situation in the Philippines.



CASEC PRINCIPLES



CASEC is committed to the task of preserving the integrity of creation and working for justice - two inseparable dimensions in the quest for total human development to provide for future generations. The ecological dimension focuses on promoting the Filipino people`s aspirations for a genuine and lasting development. CASEC endeavors to translate ecological concern into action.



Furthermore, CASEC believes in the power of an organized people and recognizes the importance of establishing partnerships with other ecological groups.





CASEC OBJECTIVES



* to provide information on the importance of Nature in people`s lives through various forms of education such as ecological training, seminars, fora, production of reading materials and alternative music with environmental messages.



* to promote love of nature among children through the establishment of children`s ecology learning center to the organized community.



* to document important issues about ecology found in the fragile island of Bohol and the Philippines.



* to strengthen the people`s organization and implement ecologically sound projects that can help improve the socio-economic status of their members



* to provide information about the ecology to other concerned groups within the country.
