Tepui Design is a consultation and strategy design company whose goal is to promote and apply Living Technologies for a wide range of solutions in Ireland and beyond. Founded to literally green Dublin's skyline Tepui Design was launched in 2007, with one of our first goals being to promote and provide green roofing solutions in Dublin. But Green Roofs are just part of a broader palette of the Living Technologies we want to promote. Our Inspiration: Living Technologies Although currently underestimated, technologies based upon living systems still offer some of the most obvious and elegant solutions to environmental repair and restoration. After all, it was living creatures and living systems which have made our world habitable, and which work together to maintain it. They are integrated approaches to solving contemporary problems with a mix of timeless biological processes, current innovations, and future awareness. We believe that layered Living Technologies, Sustainable Design and Ecosystem Rehabilitation have an important role to address many environmental issues. Our Challenge: The Environment Serious issues such as water quality and availability, food and energy security, loss of biodiversity and build up of greenhouse gases must be addressed quickly and effectively. Our Way: Open Collaboration In order to achieve our goal, TEPUI brings bodies from the private, educational and governmental sectors to work together. This collaborative synergy will not only benefit these sectors individually, but also our society and environment as a whole
