About
Global Resource Alliance is looking for volunteers experienced in small
scale alternative energy design and installation, such as wind and
solar. We would like to expand the use of alternative energy in the
Mara Region of Tanzania, and implement alternative energy in our self
sustainable Permaculture community project, which is currently in the
planning stage of development.
What about direct seeding and improved management of nitrogen-fixing multipurpose trees for fuel etc.
If you are interested in alternative energy more directly linked to permaculture then I or my publications can help you. All agroforesters, farmers, extentionist, and permaculture specialists I've trained in Mara found my research results new and highly relevant. They are based on years of field studies in Rwanda and Kenya, I expect to Vi Agroforestry Musoma at Mara again.
You can try to check my page and we may collaborate, but I cannot afford to do much more unpaid work. An NGO-organization in Musoma also expressed interest in applying for funding for I did training, training materials and consultancies for various groups. I am also interested in research collaboration and exchange of experiences. I know about wind and solar power in Africa but is not a specialist.
