About

Want to help an International nonprofit group use the Internet to expand their community and make a larger impact with their work?

The Center for Safe Energy (CSE), a project of Earth Island Institute, is looking for a dedicated individual to help us figure out what we can or should be doing online. If you can navigate through Facebook, MySpace, LinkedIn, etc. we need your help.

We are loking to do the following:

  • Update CSE's website.
  • Implement online awareness and fundraising campaigns.
  • Monitor the presence of similar nonprofits on social networking sites.
  • Connecting CSE's website to other nonprofits to promote our work.
If you are interested please contact Enid Schreibman, Center for Safe Energy, at cse@igc.org or call 510-883-1177. The time commitment would be approximately 4-8 hours/week beginning November 1st. This is a volunteer position.

Did you put together a group of people from the Ukraine that showed up at the Peak Oil event at Golden Gate Park in June 21-22?
