About

Students Partnership Worldwide (SPW) demonstrates and promotes a youth-led approach to development, implementing internationally recognised health education and livelihoods programmes across sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia. SPW has doubled in size over the past three years and is on course to continue both expansion and development of quality in line with the SPW Global Strategic Framework.

SPW Nepal was established in 1991, and over the past 17 years has mobilized more that 1600 youth volunteers (both Nepalese and international) as peer educators in disadvantaged communities across 25 districts.  It has run programmes and projects in partnership with a number of multi-lateral organizations including UNDP, UNICEF, bilateral organizations including DFID and SIDA, as well as numerous charitable trusts and foundations.

SPW Nepal would like to explore more long-term multi-year fundraising and partnership opportunities and are seeking technical assistance to support the existing Fundraising and Partnership team with this goal.  The role will focus on identifying and building relationships with new donors and partners, in alignment with the SPW Nepal national strategic framework and Fundraising and Partnerships Strategy, and on building the capacity of staff to communicate with, and manage donors effectively.

SPW is looking for an ambitious fundraising and partnerships technical assistant with relevant professional experience and a passion for SPW’s mission, to take on a short term placement of approximately six months to help lead these exciting transitions.

Download Terms of Reference and application form from www.spw.org. To apply, send a completed application form to spwukjobs@spw.org quoting the role title in the header of the email.
