World Wildlife Fund (WWF), the global conservation organization, seeks a Senior Program Officer to serve as a business partnership account manager.

The primary objective of the Senior Program Officer is to become an indispensable partner to, and manage outreach and recruitment efforts for, a high profile partnership with Information Technology sector leaders committed to transforming the industry towards greater energy efficiency.

Working with senior leadership at WWF, and at the member companies that comprise the partnership, the Senior Program Officer will lead efforts to recruit and engage new Global 2000 companies as partners; engage the broader WWF network to support the activation of this partnership across the globe; and provide relevant expertise to the Initiative and its members.

We are looking for a high energy professional with strong relationship & project management skills, and the ability to source, structure and negotiate relationships with partners. The ideal candidate brings passion to both global climate change and technology initiatives; is experienced in business development management, and comfortable working with Global 2000 companies and C-level executives; and has a demonstrated ability to support global outreach.

Requirements


A Bachelor's degree is required with a business or related concentration. An MBA, joint MBA/Environment or other relevant degree strongly preferred. Candidate should have 5-7 years work experience, with a strong background in climate, energy, industry engagement and/or information technology preferred. Combination of nonprofit and private sector experience is desirable.
