ABILITY Awareness, a nonprofit organization dedicated to building a world of inclusion for people with health conditions or disabilities through housing, employment, education, media and volunteer opportunities is currently seeking two full-time VISTA volunteers with a passion for fundraising and/or board development. The individuals in these positions will be responsible for the development and implementation of comprehensive fundraising and board development plans. Both positions are based in Santa Ana, California, require a one year commitment, and include an $11,388 stipend to cover living expenses such as rent, food, etc. We do not assist with housing but can provide you with a number of resources to help find affordable housing in the area. In addition, VISTA Volunteers can choose to receive either an education award of $4725.00 or an end-of-service stipend of $1200.00 after completing their service.
