JOB OPENING: Senior System Administrator

WiserEarth.org is looking for a freelance Senior System Administrator with the right combination of experience/expertise, interest in our project, and availability that matches our needs.

Seeking a freelance system administrator with strong architecture and development skills, and the following experience:
*Clustered LAMP stack (PHP5, MySQL5) system design/management/scaling
*Cloud deployment/architecture (Amazon EC2, etc.)
*MySQL administration/optimization
*Caching (memcached, APC, etc.) deployment/monitoring
*System testing and monitoring (load tests, log monitoring, etc.)

Timeline:
*40 hours/week for 4 weeks, up to 20 hours/week thereafter.
*Must be available to meet in-person up to 2 times/week in Sausalito or San Francisco
contract begins ASAP

Location: Must be local to Bay Area for presence at in-person progress meetings.
